If it's just some one-off backstory bit is it on an important character or a side character, or just some random NPC? Is this something the character just tells you or is it what they say to you as soon as you talk to them?

One character in a game may not seem like much, but it's the first shot that leads to every game needing to have half of its cast gay and the other have trans or else its "unacceptable." Those characters are bros because the stereotype is exaggerated for comedy, the character knows he's eccentric and doesn't give a single fuck what you think, he can't hear you over how big his afro is.
You could do the same with a tranny too, Mr. Gold and Silver in God Hand are decent examples.
