Not him, I played 3D world, and it's a pretty shallow 3D Mario with zero replayability and probably the worst one if not for the Co-op.
They even said "another 3D mario will come" which was spoken of like crazy around reveal and release, but it never happened. Only Mario Maker happened, which is a fucking mess for anyone wanting to experience good level design or any semblance of quality.

It wasn't shovelware, stop misusing that term. It was just low-effort and had nothing really stand out. Even co-op past 2 people was just super messy and annoying.
It was super easy, had some new aesthetic, but essentially just felt like 3D Land with more levels. Not even most of the secret levels were hard at all minus the last.
Its something you can beat and never really have any desire to play again.

It isn't. It will be 4 years old at the end of this year and the average lifespan for a console is 5 years. Last gen was an anomaly.
If Zelda U turns out well, I'll be pretty satisfied with the Wii U. Definitely better than the Wii, thanks to actually having good Smash and Mario Kart games.
