Titanfall and Destiny have more distinct art styles than that though. They should have asked what Halo game that armor came from. Titanfall is really dan gritty and almost realistic, Destiny is sci fi but not like that, and Call of Duty is clearly just near future military with generic soldiers and robots except cyborgs and exoskeletons.

Inside their art style, a lot of 343's armor looks fine and actually really good; there's way more chest and shoulder pieces I liked in 4 and 5 over reach or 3, for example, it's jut the whole art style is different for a lot of them; those a lot of 5's sets look more like they could fit in the traditional halo art style better.

It barely has a story, the campaign missions are extremely repetitive and coridorry, the few open miissions are too big and empty for their own good, the second hallf of the campaign is just the first half with some slightly changed geometry and flood, it has very low sandbox and enemy variety, and it lacks the huge amount of modular content that later games have with forge and a huge amount of customizatiable game modes.
It just hasn't aged well and doesn't benefit from the amount of content later titles were able to pack in.
