When Brawl came out, my friends (also normies) asked if we could go back to playing Melee after a couple of hours because the game felt "weird and slow".

Maybe if Sucky Ray spent more time on the actual game instead of Kirby Superstar Mode it would've been more fun.

Actually it probably does have the best single player content, the SSE is fun as hell when you liven up the gameplay with something like PM.

Falco was the best character in the game.

It introduced Meta Knight to the roster, so that makes it the best.

As a casual I didn't really notice how slow it had gotten from melee, I was just too pre-occupied with the absolutely massive increase in content which was so hype.

Smash 4 looks gorgeous and plays better, but the amount of content beyond the roster feels shallow.
