Don't try to use guns without having them at at least advanced level. You get next to no accuracy.
You can disarm LAM mines that are on walls and glowing. You can use those LAMs to destroy doors. Actually you can use LAMs to destroy anything. Explosions do like 500 dmg.
Explore, nigga.
You can use gadgets like environmental suit to reduce damage from radiation, gas and electricity.
Use your augs.
Put swimming on Trained, but never anything above that. Don't listen to memes.
To knock people out you need to aim your stick at the center of their backs. Keep the prod, it's one of the best weapons you get.
You also need computer/hacking skill at at least trained level.
The GEP gun is a rocket launcher. Take it or don't, but know that crossbow actually alerts people you shoot, it's terrible at the beginning and you can pick it up from terrorists.

Pistol can 1 shot headshot, I kept a stealth pistol at all times my first run (ran melee+explosives build) just to snipe people from far away. You can do this untrained too but it takes fucking forever to aim and is only useful specificly for sniping humans to clear your walking route.
Don't bother being "stealthy". You're silent while crouching and only have to worry about enemy sight cones.
Speed aug + crouch = still quiet
You get a godsword halfway into the game, don't bother getting melee upgrades cuz it 2 shots regardless.
If you're outnumbered just run through a doorway and pick them off as they run in.
The first level is the hardest and most frustrating because of how weak you are. You will feel more like a god when you get 3 augmentations and a nice inventory. Speed aug lvl 2 allows you hurdle above and around enemies and landscapes.
And above all else EXPLORE AND EXPERIMENT.
