Although I must say that the game has seen MAJOR improvements since its initial launch, it unfortunately is nowhere near BF2 or 2142 quality-wise. One can only hope that DICE LA will helm the development of the series now since they're the ones who fixed the fucked up BF4 that DICE SE released.

i have played BF4 a lot with friends, and it's shit compared to 1942 and 2142, so is BF3 and BF2 (aka babbys first BF)

the last BF4 DLC was definitely a wink and a nod to 2142. do you think its a sort of "sequel set up". and bf5 will be 2143?
id perfer that or a ww2 setting with tons of experimental weapons and attachments.

played a weekend ago and had a proper 14v14 Titan match. It's better than nothing
With every other modern shooter going for the futuristic setting lately I'd say that 2143 isn't such a stretch at this point.
I just miss the walkers and hovertanks.
