I just finished the Ninja Cave. God, that map was so good yet so fucking hard and full of bullshit.
I almost fucked it up in the end but with some saving grace my Femui got a crit.
What's the hardest chapter in Conquest? And how bullshit is it compared to that cave?

23 was the worst for me, in particular I reset over Oboro's roaming group and Rend Heaven procced for Takumi and killed me right at the end.
Oboro is tricky, you can slowly pick away at the units around her by going up and down the staircases, or lure her away from Takumi's area and sneak around her. Against Takumi it helps to calculate out the extra damage and send someone in who won't die in 1 hit.

I had my guys goonrush towards Takumi for the most part. I had pretty good kids (40 Defense Percy, sanic-fast Nina with Shining Bow, Velouria with Trample) so they tanked/murdered most things while everyone else mopped up or ate Hexing Rod charges while I ignored all the Faceless.

Map design is sorely lacking compared to Conquest and once you get Ryoma in Chapter 14 the game is effectively over. The story isn't full pants-on-head retarded though, and some of the characters are pretty neat.

My Laslow was basically only good as a backpack for Peri; he didn't have the speed to double (in fact, hoshido units are so fast that he got doubled most of the time), the defense to tank, or great strength. His daughter was pretty good though.

Armorsalyer Corrin was pretty much the only reason I could kill the Chapter 18 boss (that paired up general with Wary Fighter) on Hard.

I wouldn't have gone +Spd if I were you, as Corrin naturally has pretty fucking absurd Speed. My +Mag/-Luck Corrin was doubling everyone except absurd cases like the Samurai, Kitsune, and Ninjas which were basically lost causes and were better just facetanked with Effie, Xander, or Beruka instead.
It was actually pretty annoying; my favorite units to use are always the more slow, tanky ones, so seeing Corrin naturally evolve into a pretty fragile unit who was the fastest in my army was a bit dumb.

Eh, I wouldn't say so. Aqua's sing becomes less useful later on when the entire map is swarming with enemies and she's good for pair-up. Ryoma can pretty much take down entire armies on his own if you give him a good support partner.

Most people try to one or two turn it because of the fact that nobody besides Ryoma and MC can take a hit without being one-shot. On top of that, the game doesn't save after Chapter 27 besides the character cards you pick after the ending, so if any character dies you don't actually lose them.
The only way I finished it was pairing everybody up with a pegasus knight and then flying straight to Garon and have everybody hammer him down while other characters draw fire away from Ryoma and Kamui.
Birthright Chapter 24 onwards is bullshit because all of your units are outclassed besides Ryoma and maybe Kamui. Either that or my team just suckedPro-tip: Do not use the amiibo characters. They can't develop supports, their growth rates suck, they take forever to level up, and their skills are lackluster.

Well, they're not outright terrible. They are an asset until maybe chapter 23 onward because they get easily outclasses by enemy units.
Marth and Lucina are good for taking down wyvern riders but Archers like Takumi do the job just as well.
They're still fun to have on your team, but you'll get fucked later if you don't take the time to power up and promote the main units so they can support each other.

I had fun playing birthright because i actually wanted to wife every girl, and since its easier to get seals i got to experiment with units more. Plus it takes a longer time to beat since there are actually more side missions, so easier to bond units and see more possible relationships.
I had fun playing conquest because of the better maps,and better siblings (mainly leo, the true MC) and Azura was kinda hot in one part? but the plot was retarded.
I am currently on the revelations avatar maker and hoping corrin isnt a massive faggot in this one as well.
In all honesty you probably fucked up by playing conquest first, because birthright may seem boring after playing either or the other two? It may be personal preference but f i were talking to myself, id say play rev and save the $ and skip birthright, and this is coming from someone that enjoyed it.

The game is basically Corrin Emblem until chapter 12 or so. Horribly balanced - new recruits are way underleveled, promoted enemies mixed in with level 14 non-promoted enemies, etc. It doesn't even out until chapter 19.

They've kind of set it up so that they want you to know what's going on in the other two routes to give more backing to Revelation. It's kind of dumb since you have Azura still being "mysterious" as fuck but you at least find why she was being so stupid, but the explanation in Revelation is stupid too.

Well yeah he has sanic speed and the forecast always says 5-20 chance of getting hit but the game seems to ignore that and he always gets hit. That's not even an exaggeration. I remember every time I put him in a position the enemy could hit him and they did every. single. time. Ryoma, Hinata, and fucking Kana who are significantly slower (27, 33, and 25 speed compared to Kaze's 43) all can dodge way more often. There has to be more to it than that. Also his personal skill has never procced in 78 hours.

Kagero does that 1000x better in my experience. Also killing mages isn't so difficult that you'd need a dedicated unit for it and in Conquest Felicia/Jakob and Shigure perfectly capable of taking out mages
