I also enjoy Bloodborne a lot.
On the downside, I'm currently trying The Witcher III, and the only things I can enjoy are the beautiful landscapes, because the game pales in comparison to what Bloodborne provided in terms of movement, combat pace and mechanics.

Bloodborne was by far my favorite game in the series and I can't defend this.
In particular the bell ringers ensure that the only viable strategy is to do the NG+ thing where you just rush past every enemy in the level and then backtrack to explore shit when you're not on a respawning enemy time limit, severely fucking the pacing.

After beating Miccolash, i went and did Cainhurst, Upper Cathedral Ward, and am halfway thru the DLC. Probably gonna do Wet Nurse next, finish the DLC, then beat Gherman and Moon Presence.
Yesterday i started a new character. My main is pure strength, but i wanna try out all the arcane items you get, so my new character is Skill and Arcane. It's crazy how much easier the game is on a second play through. Still fun tho
