Its a budget game, only 40 bucks. Don't feel like there's been a PS4 game worth getting for a while (SF5 is bad and didn't sell well). However, it does release on the same day as Dark Souls 3, so I'm guessing most people who can only get one will go with DaS.

Just finished this game after never having a ps3, currently starting Left Behind. But WOW, I haven't gotten as emotionally invested in the story of a game in a long time, not to mention the combat and crafting was great. Is there any chance for a sequal/prequal? I thought the remastered version looked fantastic, I can't imagine how immersive a LoU built exclusively on ps4 would be

I bought my PS4 with my brother - he plays it all the time because he likes Battlefield and other FPS/open world games, I like adventure games and JRPGS. I feel like I don't have much to play at the moment, so yes, I'm waiting for it to have something of interest, like SMT (hopefully). Also waiting for them to add some good PS3 games to the store because we didn't have a PS3 and I'd like to try ni no kuni/other shit.

Average zombie (oh wait I mean "infected") corridor shooter. ZombiU is more fun. If you want to play a zombie / infected game, go get Left 4 Dead, Resident Evil 2 or 4, House of the Dead Overkill, or Dead Rising. All of these games are better in every way imaginable, including story, because unlike TLOU, these games don't take themselves or the imaginary concept of zombie apocalypse seriously.

playing MGSV on the PS4 at the moment. I can totally see the downgrade from the initial trailer in some places (particularly some canyons and rock formations, which look much more game-y and less realistic than when originally revealed), but overall I'm thoroughly pleased the way it looks and the FPS, not like I ever really cared about these things to begin with.

I've played them and can tell you they're exactly what you think they are. Don't let people try to trick you into buying them. They're absolutely braindead games. Uncharted is even worse because it's trying to be a game about an explorer/treasure hunter but if it was any more linear it would be FFXIII.

Try EDF4.1. It's also a loot grind endgame, coupled with extreme difficulty, there are big bosses too but the hard part mostly comes from trying to kill swarms of enemies and their spawners. 4 player online co-op (also split screen), costumizable lobbies and international servers. The artstyle looks (and is) cheesy as fuck but the game has actual depth to it.

I don't get the hate for this game. /v/ mostly like WalkingDead and still worships Clementine. TLoU is simply and expantion on this formula with actual gameplay addon on, and with better character development / overall writting.
It's not the most original idea, it doesn't have the best TPS gameplay out there (even though I think it's the second best TPS MP game right below GearofWar)
It's simply a well produced, polished product that blends various aspects pretty well and has an emotional story. If most of /v/ is able to like the 1st season of WalkingDead I don't see why there's no much more hate for this game.
