Best thing to do if you want to kill them is probably turn a smidgen to the right while speeding up (turning a smidgen to the right is to compensate for the possibility of them speeding up a moment before 'cuz lag), keep going fast, then loop back around once your head should be well out of sight of them. They won't be able to see you're coiling them until it's too late, because their view window is so small.

I stayed #2 for a long while by camping near the edges and finally got to #1 when the competition died, but had to eventually kill myself because I had to go eat something IRL.
Sometimes I found HUGE corpses near the edges for no apparent reason, like they got bored and disconnected or something so always check the edges for some free meat or overall shitter camping

Don't go out of your ways to attack others. But if someone tries to make moves on you, make sure they regret it (see Quran 2:190).
Avoid skirmishes involving more than two snakes. Most of them are going to die, and you don't want to be one of them.
