Witcher 3 was another mediocre game in a mediocre series of games. The fanboys love the world/characters and confuse that for it being a "stellar game" when in reality it suffers from the same open world padding that ubisoft games have on top of one of the most repetitive/boring combat systems i've seen in an RPG. Throw in the limited dialogue system, generic overarching plot and it being yet another Fantasy RPG set in yet another Tolkien esque (b-but muh grim dark tone!") setting and color me bored.

I actually like the gameplay a lot. But I really fucking hate the number of skill slots there are. Having more would allow for some fun combinations, but it makes it feel like cheating when you need to use a mod for it.

And I don't like the way the game forces you to explore every nook and cranny in the fuckhuge maps, and grind quests to find money and exp to scrape by. I'm sure this is like a wet dream to all those immersion fags, but all I feel is my life gradually slipping away roaming endless polygon fields.
