no, because the general public sees "gamers" as misogynistic harassing fuckwads
>>333003467lmao
>>333003467haha
>>333003362
the reason real gamers do that is because they're sick of normie fuckwads invading their hobby and making it "cool" and "mainstream" and the best way to get them to move on is to exclude them completely from the inner circle
so yes i am a real gamer now fuck off

The deep deep truth is this, so much this.
Every hobby or leisure activity has different tiers of dedication/enthusiasm, just like professions/academic careers have different tiers of training/competency.
"Gamer" might seem snobbish to outsiders, but as a group, they're pretty surface. A 'gamer' is a kid that plays a couple hours of CS:GO a week. Or someone that owns Madden.
If you want to know what snobbish is, try to talk to music/film/literature snobs. These people typically have spent YEARS researching their hobbies. They won't even talk to you if you don't know about the most obscure of titles.
To assume gamers are too snobby by just drawing a line between "plays lots of games" and "plays very little" is hilariously chickenshit.
of course i'm a gamer guys xD

What do you mean I'm not a chef? I JUST made a bowl of cereal!
"Gamer"
Definition: The title one gives him/herself when they have reached astronomical levels of autism and feel the need to let others know that they have a superior hobby.
Instead of keeping their hobby to themselves, while in a social environment, "Gamers" enjoy to audaciously inform people on their life of constant procrastinating and time wasting.
These morons have low self esteem and require acceptance from others to keep their sanity in check, much like vegans, if "gamers" don't recieve praise from the public constantly they lose all value of life and become suicidal.
