You're supposed to play on that difficulty after importing the character you've previously finished the game with, I suppose. Like the Heart of Fury in Icewind Dale 2. If you want to cheese it though, play a class with lots of summon spells. Either a sorcerer or a druid, because as a sorc you can just pick whatever and get spells on auto and a druid because buff machine + better endgame summons. Usually if there's a massive buffup of monsters, it will apply to summoned monsters as well.
