They've literally fucked the series over after 3. Basically any story that takes place in The Mass Effect Universe is pointless because the universe pretty much ends up fucked after the red/green/blue explosion. And if you go to an entirely different galaxy then it really doesn't matter because it's all new alien races with different problems that are in no way related to Mass Effect because it's literally not Mass Effect.
I remember playing Mass Effect 1 and thinking "Man, there a re ton of fucking ideas I have for games in his universe" like, why not a LA Noire type of game where you play a detective in C-Sec and travel all over the citadel? Instead they fucked it up.
