DaS2 PvP was a shitshow before a lot of balance changes and bug fixes. I'd wait till a few months after release before really deciding.

Its not as bad as i remember it being andnthe pvp is defo the best in the series.

DS3 pvp feels floaty as fuck, you don't feel like you actually hit people, plus the fact both invaders and gankers can estus and there is really no way to punish it unless you have a katana or poking weapon, sorry mate but pvp is fucked if A-team keep fucking it up like this.
(plus the fact invaders cannot invade if the boss is killed, that's fucked.)
