You know, the first case always had a special place in my heart. I loved it. I always remember how that "14 hour difference" because of timezone logic with the statue as evidence really blew me away.
I dunno, it was just so satisfying to show that contradiction. One of the better cases in the first game in my opinion.
Anyway, thinking about it, the anime is great so far. Apart from the frames, the anime is doing it's best to be true to heart to AA. I think the first ep was really enjoyable. I don't see the validity of people's disappointment with this adaption.
Also, IIRC there's different sub tracks for the names. So you can download the others with "Phoenix Wright". Personally, I don not care one bit.

Animation quality and Phoenix's voice aside I think it's a pretty fine adaption. They did a good job making the courtroom seem a little more coherent than the games (it always bothered me how the testimony would be repeated word for word during cross-examination and when you pressed a paragraph everyone already forgot the initial testimony) and the TV screens and evidence table are a good workaround for the icons and pictures that flash in and out of the screen in the games.
Mia isn't even hot anymore. Entire story ruined.

A-1 Pictures have bunch of shows that have looked fine. Boku dake ga Inai Machi was just last season and looked fine. Shitgatsu, Shinsekai Yori, Saekano, im@s, etc looked good.

24 fps is the industry standard and most anime is drawn on 2s and 3s, or holding a drawing for 2 or 3 frames. Drawing on 1s, or one unique drawing per frame would still just be 24 fps, and only big budget films have a lot of scenes done this way. 60 fps is literally impossible as of right now.

Phoenix Wright Animu with a budget. People parroted that they were using actual clips from the animu, but I'm pretty sure that they used the voice lines, if anything (the Judge sounds the same from a brief listen, although I think Phoenix's voice is a bit deeper).

The good thing about the anime is that it didn't deviate much from the game unlike the live action movie. However, having getting used to the unlocalized version made the anime feel unnatural. It's a disappointment though that Wright wasn't given leeways (i.e. game equivalent of intentionally choosing the wrong choice for teh lulz), that was a part of the fun of playing AA.
