Bringing up Orcs Must Die! is really reaching to the bottom of the barrel. No matter how fun it made tower defense, it has always been such a soft hit title that it would get packaged in for free with a lot of other crap. The reason there has been no real outrage about Unchained being another 5v5 MOBA fad game is that there aren't even enough fans for anyone to be outraged.

It's not destroying a franchise if there was fuck all going for it in the first place.

It's sad because the game IS fun.

I've at least got Plants Vs Zombies GW2, but that game will probably die by the end of the year if they don't bring it to Steam and lower its price. The game has so much content that it is worth the full $60 price tag, but it's not going to get a big playerbase because most see Plants vs Zombies as some mobile shit.

This just reminded me I signed up for the closed beta months ago and lo and behold the "you're in!" email has been sitting in my inbox all this time. Gonna check it out. Always did love those games.

Assuming disappointment is inbound but oh well.
