I work 40 hours a week on a computer all day and still have plenty of time for vidya. You're just a casual.
By having no social life outside of school or work and finding any moment I can to pump a couple more minutes into handheld games

>2 hour night class
>Play vidya till 3
>Wake up at 7 again
Its not easy but I do it

You don't have to rush through games. I started ff9 about 5-6 months ago and I'm about half way through it. I've also spent a lot of time playing BO3 and rocket league withmy onlyfriend on weekends. I feel you though, much easier to drink and casually browse /v/ than dedicate time to a game.
