Drakengard's soundtrack is a special case, since it was intentionally trying to drive you crazy. The protag and everyone else were also mad, so it was fitting.

The album sells for a huge amount of money if you can find it. It's rare and it's by FROM soft's music team which consistently makes excellent tracks, and its signature sound is found even here albeit in a far more experimental form. Personally I love it and if I had the ability to drop 300 bucks on a whim for a CD, I'd totally get it.

It's honestly really good. I have never played the game before but that i some of the most interesting music I have ever heard from a game. Not trying to be a snob, but I am a musician and its legit pretty good, but I can understand why people might think its random and unfocused. Probably doesn't fit the game because its so off the cuff, but both are a good standalone piece imo.
