What the fuck anon. 2 is a really mediocre game in comparison to all the other souls games. People are hyped for DaS3 only because it's almost a direct sequel to DaS1 with most of its mechanics and similiar aesthetics.

DaS2 has better game mechanics (with the exception of ADP and AGI stats), more build variety and better balance (no shit like non-scaling pyromancy or upgrade paths)
DaS1 has better level design and boss fights, plus in my opinion also better music
They're both great games, though I personally liked DeS the most since it was the first game in the series that I played. But if you liked DaS2 you're also bound to like DaS1.
If you're getting the game on PC remember to also download DSfix fan patch as the PC port of DaS1 is pretty bad. With DSfix applied it's better than the console versions.
