The older games too I won't mind. Like ocarina of time and I wouldn't mind the buying the newer Pokemon games. Is that enough to buy a the newer models or the older 3dss?

If you just want it for portable emulation, try an R4'd DS or a PSP instead. I'd recommend PSP, unless there are DS titles you're interested in playing.
