OpenGL is the most slowdown heavy, though you'll need D3D if you're gonna play games like SoTC, or Silent Hill in order to get the most accurate experience.
D3D = quick and easy OpenGL = precise and efficient

I can understand playing on an original ps2 for certain games, but most run fine and the few glitches that do come with them are worth bearing with for the graphical improvements. Unless you're one of those autists that believes adding graphical improvements ruins the "art design" or a poorfag, I don't see a reason to not use pcsx2.

You faggots do realize that console limitations are just that, LIMITATIONS. "Muh artistic vision" isn't compromised by increasing technical aspects such as resolution. Playing an emulated game with 99% accuracy at 3x the original resolution and framerate is a better experience than suffering through obscene loading times and framerate drops just to keep some subjectively "truer" experience.
I bet you also think that books should only be read as physical paper books.
