I liked the "grenade launcher" in Enemy Territory. You basically shoved a grenade on top of your rifle. You fire, and it would fly off and explode on impact. Obviously, it was more of a joke, because if you tried this in real life, well, you'd blow yourself up.

When I killed New Vegas befor I stupidly destroyed my load order I had a sword that made exploding sounds when you swung it and turned anything it killed into ashes. It was my melee-fu from early on just after OWB until the very end. You can get it in Project Nevada with wild wasteland on at the Yangtze Memorial if you have a certain strength stat or melee so bring a book or buffout.

I hope you know that while grenade launchers don't work like that, early 'launchers' had specialized grenades that fit over the barrel of the rifle. However, a bullet was not fired to launch the grenade but a powerful black cartridge to propel the grenade. Look up some videos on jewtube.
