I don't know, many reasons. I chose to buy DaS3 for full price instead of 20€ off, even though I had the option.
I also got EDF for the full european price instead of buying the very very cheap american version (I could've bought 3 copies for the same price) when the servers are international and it wouldn't make the slightest bit of difference.
Once you grow up you'll feel shitty for being a scalper. I don't expect to pay 3.99€ for a game on steam and demand further support, I did almost nothing for the dev.

It's not a long game. But if you like B-movie horror it's worthwhile. Multiple runs are recommended, and watching what your friends do is also fun. Too bad you can't play P.T. anymore. I think there's still a way to get it but it's not easy.
