What game feels the best to 100%?

Wario Land 2
Games whose achievements are based on difficulty and persevering (DMC, Bayonetta) rather than collectathon bullshit and busywork (Yakuza, all open world games)
Don't get me wrong, I love Yakuza, and do all the side missions and Locker Keys for each character. But eating every single item at every single restaurant? Buffing up the weapon shop for the single guy that actually uses weapons? Fuck that.
>>332690069
Any game that actually acknowledges that you did everything 100%, even if it's a tiny "you did it" message that appears in games like Kirby's Air Ride or what have you.

Old collect-athon platfomers like Spyro and Banjo are pretty good. In particular Spyro 1 as you can one-shot every level and your reward for 100% is Gnasty's Loot where you collect even more gems and shit one last time.
>>332690901
Shit was cash
In the second one, you got infinite fireball.
>>332690069
Banjo Kazooie/Tooie. Collection-a-marathons are the best, you really explore the whole level

Majora's Mask
All that fucking effort, emotional payoff finished with Fierce Deity, fuark.

>You deal ten times as much damage
>You don't have to worry about your resource drying up for special attacks
>You keep almost everything you had during your last run
>You can skip cutscenes
>You can turn your character, a dog, into a variety of different breeds of dogs for the sake of looking different: This includes a fatty fat doggo that barks like a tiny doggo.

I 100% spyro 2 and they spat in my fucking mouth.
Just for how much you have to go through to get everything.
Seeing the "Vyse the Legend" title was satisfying enough, they threw in a brand new sword and a cut scene with Vergo, best pirate/Admiral.

You know you have to be 18 to use this site right?

I bought that figure recently
Ever since I started 100%ing games, I've played and bought far fewer, enjoyed them way more, and stopped coming to this trash board as much. It's been great.
I've played ALttP many times in my life but just 100%ed it for the first time yesterday. It was actually a little disappointing because of how easy it was and how hard it was to miss anything, when I finished Turtle Rock and looked up a list to see which heart pieces I missed, it was like two, and one bottle I forgot to get. Link's Awakening has far more optional items and things to get. I'm pretty sure you can easily beat the entire game without even starting the trading quest you need to get the boomerang.

This. What the fuck am I going to use the fire breath for when I've already done absolutely everything in the game?
>>332692678
I collected everything except that one gold trophy
Any Metroid game.
>that satisfying as fuck feel when you acquire every item (and scan if it's a Prime game)
So good.
Although I could do with some unlockables for getting 100% aside from concept art. Maybe alternate costumes?

Collection bullshit is fine when it's based on exploration. Metroid Prime is basically just 'track down all these energy tanks/missile expansions' but most if not all of them are hidden and/or not easily reachable. The satisfaction of noticing a powerup under the semi-translucent glass floor and then searching the room for a way to reach it is a really rewarding feeling for me.
Pokemon games (probably gen 1-2 since after that it becomes pretty impossible to realistically catch them all without exploits/trading with other people online) have a similar feeling of satisfaction.
Dragon Quest VIII, Chrono Trigger, Muramasa and Mario Galaxy.

>Wario Land 2
god, i hate this fucking piece of shit
fuck this game
Every single powercell and precursor orb felt pretty good.
And every pokemon in pokemon ranger was also nice.
>>332690069
Super meat boy, because chances are your last objective is the kid warp zone or some dark cotton alley level, and those are fucking orgasmic to beat.
sengoku rance
I'll tell you what games don't feel that satisfying to 100%
Fucking assassin's creed games, it feels so fucking pointless to 100% them.

I'd have said 3 if it weren't for the weak story and lack of post-game bonuses.
I really liked to get 100% on Castlevania:CotM
