I really like Disasterpeace but he dropped the ball hard on this game's OST. 90% of it is just boring ambient shit, this guy is so talented but this is just a total bore. The game itself is a ton of fun, already beat the north and the east, and I only just found the 5th triangle in the east and have NO IDEA where to find the other 3.
I also found a key and I remember finding a locked door in the east but I can't recall where the fuck it is so now I'm a bit butt flustered.

The big issue is that the mouse is used to aim + the screen doesn't stay centered on the character. Either one of those is fine, but both is super annoying because you have to keep tracking your mouse relative to your character lest you dash/shoot behind yourself when you move past your crosshairs.
Compare to a game like Nuclear Throne, which has mouse aim but a centered character. It's totally fine that way.

I didn't have that upgrade, the first part isn't so bad without it (chain dash and charge slash helps) but it's easy to overextend or make mistakes during the second phase so it took me more tries than it should have. Didn't help that I only had one healing item.

Meh, although it's stupid I won't it influence my thoughts on the game.
So what are the best upgrades to get first? Also in the north area, how do you progress? I've used two portals to go through some underground sections and then teleported back to the top of the mountain, but I can't find any more.

Beat the game in 5 hours and 33 minutes. Took a lot less time than what you guys have been saying.
What does NG+ do? I see it in the main menu but when I select the save I've beaten the game with it asks me if I want to overwrite it, which brings out a natural fear I never knew I had until now. I managed to make a brand new characters when selecting NG+, which is ???

If you're using a pad, you can also press down to sit. While it's not as fast as the healing method, at least it saves you a medkit.
