There's a difference between breaking off completely from the norm, and differentiating your character while still remaining intact with not being a non-canon faggot.
The people who'd RP something like a female Orc DK that's a mutant with a raptor tail are attention whores who don't care and attempt to steal attention at any given moment.
On Moon Guard, there's occasionally a female Blood Elf who RPs as a Human that walks around Orgrimmar, and no one takes her seriously, and often threaten her because of it IC.
These kind of people are best to just ignore and not give them any attention whatsoever because they feed off of it.
I just want my guild and feelings I had during Vanilla to Wrath to come back. I don't care about content any more, it's just depressing how it is worse in most aspects. I'll take the bad graphics.

5.1 had rotating sets of dailies. Generally, each set would send you to a different location in Krasarang Wilds. That'd help break up some of the day-to-day monotony. Dailies were tied to a specific rep and more rep would unlock a one-time story quest - which basically was 5.1's main content. They used scenarios to help push the story forward and such. It felt very rewarding as part of the rep rewards. There were other scenarios that got released with it as well. All-in-all, it was a great filler patch that helped move the story along and giving you something to do.
5.2 had the Isle of Quel'danas island unlocking system. Where people doing dailies and such would eventually unlock more and more of the island for you. 5.2 also let you choose between PvE and PvP dailies and rewards. Combined with a couple world bosses, a solid raid, and lots of rares, it was a great content patch.

WoD did really well at getting people to leave. However, WrA Horde is bigger and more active.
my belief has always been this -
blizz never expected and was not prepared for just how big of a shitstorm them not releasing any new content after Siege of Orgrimmar in panda expansion for so long would cause
because of this, they had to start to rush WoD that wasn't ready to be completed, and a lot of things were cut and removed
on top of that, there wasn't much content added either, however -
because of this rush job, which was honestly a disaster, they started extremely early on Legion, which already looks far more complete in alpha than wod ever
i think legion will be a much more complete and satisfying expansion, simply because of what looks like happened to WoD, i think it was just rushed out so they could focus on legion
i think they've got raiding down pretty damn good now, as they've been pretty good since pandaria, and now with PvP FINALLY being split from pve, there is finally a possibility for incredible balancing and customization, on top of allowing blizzard to finally nerf and buff things in pve without it crippling a class in pvp and vise versa
if they can finally somewhat fix pvp again which has been broken for several expansions, on top of continuing to polish their raids? that'd be amazing. they've improved questing over time, raids and dungeons have gradually gotten better again, the real major flaws for most people have always been pvp and dalies, dailies are a crazy important part of end game, it's what gives people a reason to keep playing after a character has been 'completed' in an expansion
pandaria was pretty good in a way, but wod was an unpolished disaster and i think one of the biggest reasons people stopped playing as soon as current content was done, the garrison/shipyard stuff was just not like.. fufilling/lengthy enough to keep peoples attention

I don't think they rushed WoD. I think the project was just incredibly mismanaged.
For one, they felt they had to swing the endgame in an opposite direction after all the bitching about 5.0's dailies. So suddenly 5.3 has an experimental system and 5.4's Timeless Isle starts what will be the "fill the bar" progression quests instead of a handful of dailies per zone. This meant they had to basically cut a raid
The main one though is they overreacted to the outrage about "too much orcs" and so they had to cut out like 50% of the orcs in their orc-based expansion. And it was a disaster. They had to basically rebuild all of Shadowmoon, Gorgrond, and Talador, from the zones to the quests - in the middle of basically alpha/beta. Then they had to rework the story. And then they had to figure out what to do about the final raid - Hellfire couldn't be about killing Grom anymore, it had to be something else. So cuts, cuts everywhere. Massive, truly massive story changes. Tons of cut or retool quests, lot of VA work cut too.
WoD is a great example of how to bungle video game development even when you have your biggest dev team yet.

Somewhat considering returning for Legion to check out the new class and some zones much like I did Draenor. Wasn't impressed with WoD and quit after a month or two. Can Legion realistically do anything good for WoW at this time or is the game, and its developers, just too tired and stuck? WoW has gone from being another MMO, to a sensation, to just always being there because it never fucking dies. Talk about a golden goose albeit a boring one.

I have a thing that I do where I go to Ashran and play the role of the Jailer. To be more specific, I capture Blood elf females (priests where I can, expecially those naughty shadow priests) with the Paladin Ashran ability.
I then get back to my base ASAP and go down to the prison where I just sent them (I choose targets close by). And that is where I have my fun.
Thier options are
1) Fight me and lol @ anyone trying to solo a holy pala
2) run and deal with a base full of guards.

Blood Elves simply drained fel energy to sate their addiction. Most of them were careful about it, since they knew they would become lost and corrupted if they drained too much. The green eyes are a side effect of it, as is an aura of fel energy around them. Considering Blood Elves born after the Sunwell was purified and their addiction cured still have green eyes, it might be either a permanent change or will take a while to dissipate.

I'm out of fucks to give for WoW. I've given far too many over the last decade. I need to just detox off of it completely and try enjoying another MMO and giving it a real chance until the WoW is completely out of my system. I did it once before and it was the best fucking 8 months ever but I was SO STUPID and played WoD and got hooked back in now I'm back at square one.

Arms for leveling, keep a one-hander and shield handy since you're gonna tank if you ever want to do dungeons.
Tanking is all about spamming sunder armor and alternating between targets with your sunder. You want to get into the habbit of Sunder > Tab to next target > Sunder > Repeat.
Do not let others pull for you, the initial aggro is essential to get rage so you can spam sunder more.
Taunt doesn't add any threat, only use it to pull a target off another player (especially your healer).

I really would not recommend starting as warrior if you are unfamiliar with WoW.
To succeed as a warrior you are really dependent on having good gear, and even then you will probably have your ass handed to you regularly while questing.
