I was hoping for an Ape Escape clone game where instead of catching monkeys you'd do Jedi quests and instead of different equips we can have different Jedi/Sith spells.

Well you'd have bounty hunter quests and shit with an emphasis on a light and fun platforming level design.
The reason I wanted to replicate Ape Escape mainly is because the weapon system could be mirrored with an interesting Force ability system that you can map to your controls.
That and the fact that the protagonist literally uses a Lightsaber got me inspired to bring it up. I really want a game that has an emphasis on dual analog and an interesting ability(gadget) system.
