Yeah, Bloodborne's actually pretty short compared to Dark Souls 2. Now you can get the Blood Stone for your final upgrade, make one last venture through the upper level to the Wet Nurse which is pretty easy then you're pretty much done. Just don't kill Gherman before you've found and used 3 cords. There should be 4 total to find in the game. Also, do the DLC before you beat the game.

Not that fucked, you just have to clear the game through Amelia again on NG+ which is surprisingly easy. You might still have a lot of trouble on Ludwig but everyone does. I had to pretty much beat NG+ before I managed to get through the DLC.

It is unquestionably better than the base game in quality. All of the bosses in it are thematically awesome. Gameplay wise is has two of the most challenging and well-designed bosses in the souls series. All of the soundtracks are awesome, all of the weapons are fucking amazing and the new armors are nice even if they don't add much. The lore within is arguably more interesting than anything in the base game and the dlc adds more variety to the Midgame in weapon and armor choice.
It's artorias of the abyss tier dlc and playing BB without it is a terrible idea.

Just beat Orphan, I found him a lot less difficult than I thought I would based on what I had heard. Only took me several tries. His moves seemed fairly easy to read, and he has a lot of openings after them, not to mention he'll eventually stagger after you combo him no matter the weapon type. Fun fight tho

You can farm vials easily like one anon said, alternatively you can buy them in the Hunter's Dream.
As for the fight, learn to use your environment effectively. You're in big graveyard with tons of obstacles; use them to your advantages. Parrying makes it easier, but you don't even need to parry him to beat him. Just hit and run, keeping an eye on your stamina.

Just keep at it.
Don't spend all your blood echoes on levelling, use some on vials when you're in the dream always.
Get comfortable with your weapons and the fact that you have a massive stamina cache. Everything the game has can be dodged through, just go full balls-to-the-wall aggressive.

I had the newer cuh 1216b "quiet" model. Turned out shit was making this pulsating sound out of the back, where the power supply is. At first I though my unit was defective but nope, every single model has a coil whine problem.
