I went from 175 to 530 over like 6 months for like 30 bucks. All the money was the occational bundle and if it could have costed a lot less.
Maybe I got about 100 of them from the bundles but the rest was either giveaways (FreeGamesOnSteam) or cheap ones on steam (Less then 50 cents) that I bought with the money I got from cards. I even bought some more expensive games like Valkyria Chronicles, ToME, Risk of Rain and Spelunky with cardmoney too. I never bought any games steam directly with my credit card.
A lot of the games are shit or not worth playing yeah, but it was more like a fun project for me to gather the games for almost nothing (I could probably have gotten to about 300 without paying a single cent) and now I get a booster pack every week instead of once a month.
