What did you guys think of the demo?

It was fun. I'll definitely give it another go. I imagine they'll still be taking feedback and making adjustments before it releases.

I don't even think the combat is repetitive. It's just not engaging.
Every action game has a dodge meta-cue. I couldn't find it in this demo, unless I'm missing something. This game has way too much teleporting and jumping not to have this, IMO. Dark Souls could get away with not having it, since you're always on the ground (and it's more responsive in general).

So what does SE hope to achieve by releasing this demo? The game is still 5 months away and that's a long ass time. Since the demo is super short, after a maybe the first 2 weeks people will stop talking about the demo so the hype it generated is short lived. Possibly tweaking things from the feedbacks of a less than 1 hour demo is kinda hit or miss, unless SE plan to maybe patch/update the demo on a regular basis by adding additional features to let the players experience more of the game but knowing SE I kinda doubt that.

Its so sluggish, framerate barely reaches 30, they took some very sectioned off part of the game to show off.. Also run after these crystals: the demo.

The game felt very cheap, or much like a Shovelware game, every thing felt very loose.
On PC it will be a lot more solid with AA and 60fps but PC versiom will probably release a minimum of 6 months after consoles.
