Duscae had more shit to do and even though the combat was from the old build you had way more options than in this one
The optimization is a little better, but sitll lacking, but then again we haven't seen a big area with grass and lots of monsters, the framerate will probably still dip in the 20s and the LOD of grass will be 1 feet
Anything that isn't locked 30 or 60 should be unaccpetable for an ARPG

Combat felt better in ED. This "final" combat feels like shit. No weapon skills, and real time weapon swapping seems like it will be fucking pointless since you only have 4 slots to choose from. I would prefer BOTH the auto-swap from the old version, and real time switching.
Magic being a grenade is the worst shit ever. Like, holy fuck is it bad. You want to constantly be moving around, but for Magic you have to stand still and aim a fucking green circle to use it. So god damn dumb.
Weapons also had skills, so ontop of normal attacks you would have weapon type specific attacks that use MP. ED felt like you did more shit in combat and had more choices
Also the Arbiter mode feels way different now.

Whats so confusing about it? Press dpad for weapon/magic type. Press O to attack. Press triangle to warp to the enemy for an attack, or release lock on and you can warp to lamp posts ext. Hold square to block or press it to dodge. Seems pretty basic to me.

As in, you actually plan how to create an opening in the enemy defense so you have time to aim properly.still pretty stupid though, especially if they don't properly ease players into it; it's the same thing with XIII relying heavily on status effects which were completely useless in previous games and threw veterans off
