I used to get overwhelmed back when I was grinding inRuneScapebecause of it's exp curve. Just set a straight goal and focus only on one game/objective.
It's always better to try and power through the game (at least for me) but it does get tiring sometimes, but you just gotta stay detetrmined to finish. You'll get through little by little.

Before you ask, I was poor from 1993 up to 2008 and never owned a console during those yars other than the SNES, even then SNES games were scarce. I still have some pending in my queue, that's why it is so fucking gigantic.

It really is. During the winter I'd spend my days in the blankets listening to podcasts and playing tons of handheld games.
Even now with it starting to get up into the 80s/90s, I'll still laze about on the couch doing the same thing. I love my consoles/PC but there's just something inherently relaxing about handhelds.

Wolfenstien new order is a fantastic shooter, didn't play old blood. Plus, it's short.
Valkyria chronicles is great, takes about 30 hours to beat
Witcher 2 is pretty good, but it'll take a heavy investment.

It is. And it's one of those games where you can fuck up and lose. I didnt do enough side quest and my gear and level was shit, and during a big fight in act 3, the regen of the opponent was out doing my dps.
Similar thing happened in valkyria chronicles. I get tired and impatient in the last few hours and push through to a boss I can't beat because my damage output wasn't high enough.

I probably should've put down "Second Runner" because I finished the first one a while back on the HD collection and it was pretty meh. Seems like Second Runner is the definitive game in the series, and from the small amount I played, I can see why. They made everything feel much more flashy and satisfying and got rid of those gross 3D cutscenes.That being said, it seems much harder than the original. I played the first on Hard and it was still piss easy, but Second Runner's Hard Mode kicked my ass immediately. I dropped it during the first Vic Viper fight, so I want go back and try it on Normal like a pleb.

GTA V. I got it 2 months ago. The online is pretty dead, and the single player really isn't all that good. It just wasn't fun
Fallout 3. I liked fallout 3 and all, but the shooting sucks, the story is only passable, potato faces. I'd much rather play new Vegas. I'd much rather play STALKER or METRO. much better gameplay from those titles.
Id say metal gear solid 2 and deus ex hr are the must plays on your list. Just not back to back. You might get fatigued by some of their similarities.
