Luna is basically just slightly altered Stella who was there since the game was announced, and her role in the story is pretty much the same as Stella's was.
Aranea has been there since the 2011 Versus XIII trailer.
The other two were added since it became FFXV, but I seriously doubt they were added for the reason you say. Certainly Cidney would not be dressed like that if that were the case.

Which makes me suspect that if (when) there is a PC release it certainly won't be for a while after the console launch, which is disappointing.
That being said, do some people really think it won't ever get released on PC? Given that the Crystal Tools clusterfucks got ported, along with IX (though I'm guessing that was in no small part motivated by the Android/iOS ports), I'd be hella surprised if a modern Squenix game developed on PC didn't end up on it eventually.
It's likely they just want to get people to double dip and limit QA costs and will release the PC port a few months later.

I think most of /v/ is in agreement that it will be ported. Square has been friendly with PC for a long, long time. FFVII got a PC port. It's nothing new. The problem, the biggest issue as you said is that it will come later, at a point where the plot and all of the secrets of the game have been spoiled, which, for a game ten years in the making, is sad. This game deserves to be played blind. Even if it's fucking shite, the game needs to be played at release for full impact.
