Complete paradigm shift for the genre. No longer acceptable to be a top-down clickfest, just as it is no longer acceptable for TPS games to not feature a cover system and not be designed for gamepad.
It may be the first MOBA with tasteful and actually cutting-edge visuals as well.

The emphasis on console play (and cross-play with PC, with negligible advantage and interchangeable controls by design) and the streamlining of the item shop and autistic statistics makes Paragon the first MOBA that could conceivably be enjoyed by neurotypical people.

Paragon is the most boring game I've ever played. It's so fucking slow and you do fucking no damage.

It's only slow if you're playing against bots. And in the late-game you can one-shot all minions and take down enemy heroes in seconds if you play well / build right.

Even speccing Murdock with Micro Nuke so that he does tons of damage is still fucking boring. The game is just too slow and there's not enough action happening.
