Left 4 Dead is still my favorite impromptu multiplayer game, especially for coop.
Resident Evil 5 is a good choice imo, Really fun co-op game, Plus you play as a hot dude and she plays as a hot girl, Can easily flirt with it.

Try not to pick something too competitive or skill intensive, so stay away from fighting games for sure. Cooperation is what you want, so I'll list some stuff that I've had fun with in coop that isn't difficult to run/learn.

I'd also say that Left 4 Dead is the best choice then, since she's familiar with FPS and source engine games. Also obviously better to play something co-op

EU4 I can understand, because combat is a fucker to learn and it's easy to fuck up at pretty much every stage. CK2 can be fun even if you're a massive casual, especially if you just go for the 1066 start. Combat is easy, it's just a game of who has the bigger number, and most of what happens is pretty obvious and easy to understand. Plus it's quite difficult to fuck up completely and lose all your titles.
