what's a good budget graphic card ?
my wife wants us to play Final Fantasy 14 together and I haven't been playing games for a long time so I have an ancient card
want to buy a new GPU, something just enough for games like FFXIV, not the newest games
what would be optimal in this case? what is a good budget GPU for games ?
How's Sapphire R7 250, 2GB, PCI-E (129498)

GTX 750ti 2GB.
Goes for less than 100 bucks at best these days, does not require those 6-pin power connectors, as they take their power from the PCI-E port, thus being very low-power too (= work well on shitty PSUs).
Yet somehow these little cuties can run even GTA5 at 1080p/Very High, and clock a solid 35fps average. Probably steady 60 with couple settings lowered.
Alternatively, spend couple tenners extra on 950, which is around 30% faster.

Very shit.
It's old and super low-end. Don't get ANYTHING made by AMD that's below 270, or you will regret it.

950 also has a new build from ASUS which is low power, no 6-pin. looks nice
either these two, or a similar offering from AMD
gtx960 runs ff14 fine.

neat! that makes 750ti finally obsolete.
AMD unfortunately hasn't made a good no-connectors low-power GPU since HD7550.
