Except that one time when I was up against a platinum guy, he won, but it was damn close and he refused the rematch too. Figures, when he stands to lose like 300 points but only gains like 10 for a win.
They should probably have made it so that you only gain points once after winning or losing the bo3 set. Other games do this and it's neato. No idea why Capcom didn't feel like it.

You're right that it's Kat Steel again, but I honestly think it was a matter of voice direction that made Ibuki suck. Despite already popping up in SFIV as she is, Capcom wanted to make a note that they're taking the "story" of SFV, which lies between SFIV and SFIII, seriously. Notice how they always talk about Alex being younger in their blog posts and things like that. Considering that, Ibuki technically is younger in SFV than SFIII, but the problem arises when she was already in SFIV.
Looks like they're just making a minor edit of it and correcting Ibuki's voice to reflect her actual, younger age than worrying about how it'd carry over from SFIV. Mate, everyone has moves designed specifically to catch the other guy out of the air, some are faster / cover more space than others but positioning yourself in a way that makes it so that when your opponent keeps doing reckless forward jumps, you can punish him for doing so, that's fighting game 101.
So yeah, stop jumping into that particular move, basically.

I understand that, but the move in question has a giant hitbox, is incredibly fast, and can be done easily on reaction. I don't see many other characters with AAs this good in this game. My main, Vega, has some decent AA with c. heavy punch(better with claw off), but more often than not, I get trades, unlike this move.
