I've played probably 1000 hours on 14. Absolutely love it. But I usually go 6 months without playing it and go back for a few hours. But I do believe it is the best one on the market atm.

Deagoon/Lancer feels empty but after lvl 50 it gets a lot of good fun attacks.
Stick with Arcanist, it's helpful since it turns into both dps with Summoner and a healer (Scholar) and they both level at the same time since it sharers the same base class.
BDO brought back the magic of ffXI for like a week. Mostly because it does not explain SHIT. Then you hit endgame which is more akin to a classic korean grinder where the no lifers have complete control over PvP which is endgame for BDO.

Literally everything could be summarized as terribly bland and shallow minigames, where in the time you actually have to commit to grinding them is in no way worth the lackluster rewards you get.
The only thing this game has going for it is the challenging primal ex fights, mainly because of dat music. Everything else is drivel.

Outside of PVP, does any of you use one ilm punch or haymaker? They seem pretty useless for parties, since either i'm not getting hit, therefore not proccing haymaker (and DRGs being able to slow on demand), and save for very particular mobs, there's no buffs to remove with one ilm punch.

Any healer that doesn't heal during any of the new dungeons is a literal waste of space. The mobs hit so weak and tanks have so much migration that SCH can leave all their healing to their pet. Why wouldn't you just start to DPS, especially seeing that healer have it so much easier than all other DPS to AoE, not to mention you last longer than any TP based class.

Really easily, gamepads switch through hotbards effortlessly because when you hold the trigger button you can switch through 8 different hotbards assigned to each button, the rest is just memorizing where your skills are which is just muscle memory.
SCH and SMN is also not as hard as you might think once you're used to switching through hotbars the right way, meaning you can leave the pet hotbar on toggle.

That would be fine, but they are actively encouraging healer dps in novice camps as well as raids. So no, it is actually your job to dps as a healer, you're no better than a shitty tank or dps if you think casting a cure 2 every 10 seconds is what your job only is.
Considering the new dungeons, especially since they only require an average of like 450 heals per second. Considering a Divine Seal Cure 2 can easily hit for 10k+ on crit and like 5k+ usually, its disgustingly low. Not to mention the HPS needed is less with a good WAR. It's so easy to just switch on clerics and spam aoe.

Wildstar is a legitimately bad game, though - one of the most ugly and unfun MMOs of all time.
Tera is good, but was released during WoWs peak. It's still pretty active, but the developers are shitters and can't into server stability, optimization, or QoL improvement so it never attained greatness. Still has the best MMO combat of all time.

Gamepad is very manageable once you learn macros, and use the l2+r2=another hotbar option.
Some good space saving macros include putting 2 ogcd skills that target different categories in one macro (only activates the skill with a valid target), or making a summon also replace any pet abilities, or swiftcast + resurrection (press once for SC, again targetting a dead unit for res)

Every healer has to ocassionally heal. The fairy is like a 200 pot regen so that just gives scholar the most time dps in a dungeon.

WHM can easily pull 1.9k if the rest of the group is decent and AST gets 1.5k as well. SCH should be inbetween there.
Force people to heal, get random damage and make them care about MP usage that goes above "How many holy can I squeeze in". First week Gordias 4 with randoms level of healing would be fun.

In general you want to have the pet on 'Obey' She will cast the healing spell by herself. All other skills should be used by you.
You can marco her heal into your Physics and Adlo, so she'll target the same target as you, giving your heal a bit more potency, but tanks take so little damage that it usually isn't worth it.

It heals automatically even on obey but it will stop healing at like 80% hp. The ai is not that good and its generally recommended to leave the fairy on obey, that way you have an esuna cooldown and a silence cooldown on top of being able to use the haste buff when your dos can actually make use of it.

I'm able to maintain 1300 dps at all times during a8n and have a blm friend who keeps it at 1450. People in df don't know how to play their classes it isn't the class itself problem. The entire normal fight is doable with a full party of bards who can at best mainbtain a 1000 - 1100 dps each.
