That version of Seymour you fight in the snowy place on the mountain. I don't remember the name of any of that shit, but he can one hit kill all of you even without his zombie-revivespell chain he likes to do.
He's not impossible but he's widely seen as the hardest boss in the game and maybe I just don't care enough in replays to bother killing him, he's pretty far in the game too so it sucks but I don't want to grind for ages when every fight up to him through the entire game is super easy.

Last time I beat him was easy, the only thing that gives more trouble is his petrification + shatter combo, but you can keep hiting that other thing to force it to suck seymour's health. The zombifiying isn't that hard since you can heal it and sometimes seymour fails a turn or heals you
And if you're having big problems you can just cheese it using aeon overdrives

I thought FFX had a captivating story and an extremely interesting world/lore. I really enjoyed the storytelling in the sense that one of the biggest reveals in the game was something that literally everyone but the main character knew.
As much as people seem to dislike the "daddy issues" part of Tidus' character, I thought it was a really well executed part of the story. The fact that there can be so much of a poignant relationship and development of that relationship when the two characters literally never encounter each other until right at the end is some ace fuckin' pacing,y'know?.
