How hardcore are you?
If I break a lock or fail a Hacking attempt, I let it go and give up and move on.
>>332488889
>failing either of those
>ever
>>332488889
i don't play terrible parodies of fallout games
>>332488889
I dont see from a fallout game, ever
>>332488889
>giving up after one unsuccessful attempt
>calling yourself hardcore
How beta are you in real life?
I immediately reload the save I made during the the attempt. Mechanics like these are stupid.
I do always play on highest difficulty settings
I play Skyrimwithout mods.
>>332489259
Inflated bullet sponges isn't a good mechanic either.
>fucking up lock-picking and hacking
>>332488889
faggot
>>332489363
The whole game is a bad mechanic.
>>332489345
>>332488889
I'm so hardcore I go up in blighttown
>>332489345
Well, it's not a BAD game, just not good. Why would you when there are a few good visual mods at least that have little overhead?

>>332489042
>>332489241
>>332489259
>>332489447
Do you know how I can tell you use quicksaves and quickloads?
>>332488889
I use a mod to skip this stupid minigame.
It was fun for 5 minutes the first time they used it. I'm fucking done with it.
>not using Force Lock
% chances are the best part of Fallout games.
>>332489345
So do Ion a console
>>332488889
you can't break a lock without forcing it (unless you do it on purpose like a retard)
you can reset your tries on the computer if you simply exit it
no need to quick save and quick load, the game is already made to be ez
>>332488889
I once beat Gone Home without looking up a guide.
>>332490142
>he's so shit at hacking and lockpicking that he needs to quicksave
>LOCKPICKING
I've beaten Doom on Ultra-violence without dying once.
>>332490578
In other words, you stockpile lockpicks like a madman and refuse to admit your cheating methods.
just Force Lock like a man and get it over with. Either you get that Stimpak and some ammo cases or you don't
>>332490735
>Stimpacks
At best you'll have a glass and a paperweight.
I've played Fallout 4 for only 1 hour (lol nerdy I know) and I've already got a minigun, power armor, AND killed a deathclaw.
>>332490834
Yeah but you'll need those to help build that rusty green chair you've been wanting.
>>332490735
>using the lockpicking mechanic to pick locks is now cheating
>leaving it up to random chance
i bet you liked bethesda's speech percentage checks too huh champ?
I got the 7 day survivor achievement for Dead Rising without my 360 melting down
>>332490089
Is that supposed to be harder?
>>332490301
This, no QS involved
>>332491152
underrated post
i still dont remember why i only got to 6 days
>>332491518
source?
>>332491548
I think it's called Next. It's not horrible, but it's not really all that good either.
>>332488889
Highest difficulty
I don't abuse save states
Usually skip simple upgrade systems. Never upgraded guns in Dead Space.
I'm pretty conservative with ammo/items so I stick with weak weapons
Nothing hardcore.
>>332488889
>>332490301
You understand that hacking isn't luck or skill based whatsoever, right?
Any string of data between enclosed brackets (), {},[],<> can be clicked. They remove false words and reset your guesses.
Once you find all the enclosed brackets for any given hack, there is only one possible answer remaining.
You literally CAN'T fail if you do it correctly.
