Mostly all the stuff the paid version has barring characters. There's a weekly rotation of a single character which you can use in the free version. You can buy characters separately as well though, so if you already know your main you don't need to spend many shekels.

There are a number of issues with it, but pretty much all the ones I've seen have a way to turn them off. There's a bunch of stuff in the system that tracks what you do and sends it back to MS's servers, but that can all be disabled with setting options, and registry changes. Been using Win10 for a while now, it's pretty solid. Definitely better than the shitshow that was Win8.
