I've never bothered to ask this but I kinda feel like it now.
Why do people care about Daisy?
I don't mean that there's anything wrong with her, I think she's cute and all, but that's kind of my point. That's it. She's just a cute girl.
Other than minor differences in appearance she's indistinguishable from Peach. There are no games (that I'm aware of, I never played Paper Mario games) that elaborate on Daisy's personality or anything. So why are there people who regard her as anything but a palette-swapped Peach?

Yeah she basically doesn't have any features that would warrant her outside the spinoffs. Even there she was mostly adopted because they needed a female character that wasn't Peach.
