What's the difinitive version of Rayman 2?

I played and still have the ps1 version from when I was a kid but I heard that was gimped a lot, so I'd like to replay a different version.

PS1 version is definitely the worst since it was changed a lot to run on that hardware. The best "original" R2 is the Dreamcast one. The PS2 one is also pretty good with additional content, improved graphics, added voice acting and hub world. I heard the fps is pretty shit on the PS2 though so you might want to emulate it if you choose that version.

There are more platformers now than there were in the 80s and 90s. Literally every indie game is "Platformer with X".
