They're doable I think. Some of them anyway. While you can have say 100 health. Certain characters like Amuro have 10 times that. Or at least it seemed that way to me all those years ago.

What I've played of it so far was really neat. The soundtrack and the sound effects are straight up lifted from 0079 and I love it. Also the pause menu sound makes me smile every time.

If i remember right, killing them or not means nothing and doesn't affect the mission usually.
