It's about the process behind it. Tom is very transparent about the changes that get made to their games and provides explanations. When they were first bringing over SK they had two standard options the bosses wanted, either age the girls up or remove the ages altogether. This is why Japan's rating board needs to be laid back. ESRB is pretty laid back and doesn't give a fuck of what content is in the game? Nudity and sex in a game? ESRB doesn't care. Blood and gore? ESRB doesn't give a shit. Swearing, drugs, etc.? ESRB gives no fucks. PEGI doesn't care either but they need to stop giving every game that has blood and gore an 19+ rating since it does seem off and they have a 16+ rating.
