Quite enjoyable, actually, especially if you like exploration. Just be prepared to do a lot of running back and forth because it's a fairly big world with no fast travel. It's very comfy though so it never bothered me much.

Just put a little WD-40 on the reader rails and it's as good as new. The grease Sony put on the original ps2 reader rails eventually scrapes off, creating a grinding sound as the reader slides up and down.
But a little WD-40 on a q-tip applied to the rails will ensure years of additional enjoyment.
