I just picked this up again because I forgot to complete Alisha's story after completing the main game.
The final dungeon was so horribly designed I was physically nauseous. Fucking 11 floors of the same shit over and over, enemies that give you fuck-all exp and gald (not that there's a real reason for it anyways) despite their ridiculous HP, having to play without Zaveid for 8/10ths of the DLC and no Mikleo except for the final boss which doesn't matter because it's weak to Wind anways, and having to deal with Rose STILL being shown as the better person than Alisha.
Worst part is it leaves a cliff-hanger as if they would ever fucking continue this bullshit after what Baba did and the outrage received.
Worst 4 hours ever.
I enjoyed the main game, though. Many downsides, but just being able to play Tale's Linear-Motion Battle System is enough to make me have fun.

All I really ask is that the Tales games just run smoothly. Things got really choppy back in Xillia, and Zestiria ran somewhat decently in comparison, though there were still a lot of times where animations got laggy. It still seemed to run better than both Xillia games overall.

I always thought she meant it in a self-aware way, like "killing is bad and immoral, so don't do the things that I do". There's a cutscene at some point in the game where Sorey is about to kill someone and Rose stops him and tells him not to dirty his hands since he's pure of heart or whatever, and finishes the job herself in his place. It's not that hard to figure out, dude. Rose knows killing is bad, but she's already in too deep to stop what's with being the leader of a group of assassins and all, and doesn't want someone goodhearted like Sorey to end up like that too. That's all there is to it. While there were lots of things about the writing I didn't like, especially with Rose's character, this is a dumb complaint.
