I had good impressions when I played the alpha preview build from 2014. Satisfying combat system, good aesthetics, very good when it came to showing and not telling. Only downside was the 30 fps.
As long as the final build shows improvement over the alpha build and isn't super short (less than 7 hours), I'll be a happy camper.
I'm moderately excited. If it's anything like the alpha, I think it'll be worth the twenty dollars I think I gave them.

Don't want to overly defend it, but how is it pretentious? Premise of the game is that you're playing as a space dude slowly dying and you're exploring space lands to find a space cure. There's no deeper meaning behind it all trying to be forced upon anyone.
