I play with m/kb, so I really just use it to help me remember my distance for shooters and help me practice aiming.
I just always get my ass kicked on that certain part. you know the one, where the song goes from a 3 star song to a 9 star song for about 3 seconds.
I play Osu, I'm Omepe, and I currently have a 2 week silence so don't bother adding me.
In all honesty I was considering quitting this game because lately I've just been getting worse for no apparent reason.

Well after such a long time not playing, at least I can still do most 3.5* songs. I used to be able to sightread quite a few insane difficulty tracks (unless they were ACTUALLY insane), but at least I know my hand still sort of works.

number of plays literally don't matter, everyone progresses at a different rate.
if you just want hand holding heres a strategy:
sort maps by difficulty
start from maps you know you can clear and work your way up to higher difficulties
when you find a map you can just barely clear, focus on all the maps that are about the same difficulty
don't worry too much about s ranks until you start playing 4+ star maps, it's just too soon.
